My Unforgettable Experience

Hay, Let me tell you about my story. Emm, this is about my experience some months ago. It was two months ago, March 23 ^th 2014, was my birthday. So, I am 19 years old now.

That night, I was very surprised. At around 2 A.M, my phone rang, I was half asleep when I answered it. It was Mega, my friends. She asked me to wake up and be quiet. She instructed me to get ready and that we'd  go out of the house through the garden, our rooms were in the very back of the house and we had no access to open the main door or the gate, so we went from the back door. I was terrified that we'd wake the landlady. I could only imagine how angry she would get if she found out! When we arrived near the gate, everyone else was already waiting for us. I had no idea what they were up to, but I already imagined that they were about to do something to me. Something indeed, they started throwing eggs on me, on my hair... yeah! they had this small plastic bags already filled with eggs, water and God knows what else??  Then my suffering didn’t end there, they started throwing me flour..is it a birthday or a baking contest? Haha.. I was wondering.  Anyways, after all the egg and flour throwing was done, they hugged me, gave me flowers, presents and cards. They even took pictures of me, with all the flowers in my hand and flour on my hair and all over my face. Then we went to this street food vendor that served Soto Ayam all night. We'd sat on the pavement, enjoying our soup. It was just the best moment in my life, it was too precious that I will cherish all my life.

In the morning, I was very happy and grateful when my friends presented me a birthday cake and a sheet of greeting card. They are my best friend. I Love you, Desy and Tia. And my other best friend also gave me present. They gave me a greeting and a prayer. Wouldn’t that be also nice? Thank you, guys. Moreover they are my new friends in university. But, they asked me for buy them food. It like Thanksgiving for my birthday.

After we had lunch, we visited my favorite place. That is the place that I have always wanted to go to, so getting to visit it on my birthday was a blast. After that, we went shopping at an outside mall. We had four hours to just do whatever we wanted too until it was time to go eat at a really nice restaurant.

After shopping, we went back to the campus, and that is when a bunch of my friends surprised me with a gift that they put together. Another one of my friends surprised me by ordering a really cute cheesecake. It was a very pleasant surprise.

When I backed to home, I was also excited to see my family and celebrate my birthday with them. I got to have dinner with my parents and I opened my cupboard. And present again there. It from my sister. Cute blue shoes. Thanks my sister! :). It’s also my beautiful birthday and it’s an unforgettable experience.
